An established and growing accountancy practice is looking to recruit a Private Client Tax Professional to join its expanding tax team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax individual looking to work with a varied portfolio of private clients while continuing to develop their technical expertise and career.
Working with individuals, families, business owners and other private clients, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services while building strong, trusted relationships.
The Role
- Manage and support a portfolio of private clients, ensuring their tax affairs are handled accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and review personal tax returns and associated compliance work.
- Provide advice and support across a range of personal tax matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and estate planning.
- Deal with client queries in a professional and timely manner, providing clear and practical guidance.
- Build strong relationships with clients and become a trusted point of contact for tax-related matters.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider practice to deliver a high-quality service.
- Assist with tax planning opportunities and advisory projects where appropriate.
- Liaise with HMRC and other relevant parties when required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and industry developments.
- Contribute to improving processes, sharing knowledge and supporting the wider tax team.
About You
- Previous experience working within private client tax, personal tax or a related tax role within practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK personal taxation.
- ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified.
- Experience managing or supporting a portfolio of clients.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
