We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join a busy and growing business in Richmond, North Yorkshire. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who enjoys analysing projects, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring contracts are profitable. You will be responsible for compiling estimates for structural steelwork and other sub-contract works, working out project costs, and creating budgets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing material, labour, and equipment requirements.
  • Analysing quotes from sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Entering data into estimating software accurately.
  • Coordinating with technical teams across the business.
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, and other third parties.
  • Organising tender enquiries and administrating tender documents.
  • Collecting and distributing feedback efficiently.
  • Attending meetings with potential clients across the UK when required.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Several years experience in a similar construction estimating role.
  • Strong maths and IT skills, with excellent problem-solving ability.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
