Job Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a proactive and experienced Electrical Technician to join a forward-thinking and fast-paced team. This is a hands-on role, suited to someone with strong electrical expertise and a working knowledge of mechanical systems. The role will be predominantly electrical with a ratio of 70/30 Electrical/Mechanical.
Main Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and fault-finding on electrical systems
- Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical elements
- Install and optimise logic controllers to improve system performance
- Carry out testing to meet safety and operational standards
- Take initiative to improve departmental efficiency while working independently or within a team
Candidate specification:
- Time-served or formally qualified in Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience with electrical maintenance and PPM systems
- Background in plastics or injection moulding is desirable
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems
- Experience with logic controllers is advantageous
