Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a proactive and experienced Electrical Technician to join a forward-thinking and fast-paced team. This is a hands-on role, suited to someone with strong electrical expertise and a working knowledge of mechanical systems. The role will be predominantly electrical with a ratio of 70/30 Electrical/Mechanical.

Main Duties:

  • Perform routine maintenance and fault-finding on electrical systems
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical elements
  • Install and optimise logic controllers to improve system performance
  • Carry out testing to meet safety and operational standards
  • Take initiative to improve departmental efficiency while working independently or within a team

Candidate specification:

  • Time-served or formally qualified in Electrical Engineering
  • Proven experience with electrical maintenance and PPM systems
  • Background in plastics or injection moulding is desirable
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems
  • Experience with logic controllers is advantageous
