We are recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to join an established and well-reputed Richmond-based business for a fully office-based role. You will work closely with the Finance Director to play a pivotal role in overseeing and supporting the financial aspects of the business. You will be responsible for producing management accounts, assisting in year-end audits, producing journals and general account support tasks. They ensure the accuracy of financial records and contribute to the overall success of the business.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working with accounts team to facilitate a smooth month-end process
- Taking ownership of the monthly ledger close process, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Preparing accurate and timely management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations and month-end journals
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
- Monitoring and managing cash flow to optimise liquidity and support operational needs
- Helping prepare the monthly management accounts pack
- Any other tasks that are reasonably assigned to you by the Finance Director
Requirements/Experience:
- CIMA qualified/part qualified or QBE
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in financial management roles
- Proficient in using IT systems such as Microsoft Office and Excel
- Proficient in Sage Line 50
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct
