A reputable client of ours is currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Management Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a flexible position with the potential to be either part-time or full-time, depending on the successful candidate's availability and experience.
The role would suit someone who has ideally worked within a practice environment. You will need a strong working knowledge of Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:- Handling day-to-day bookkeeping duties for a portfolio of clients
- Preparing management accounts and financial reports
- Processing VAT returns and maintaining accurate records
- Reconciling bank statements and managing client ledgers
- Liaising with clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services
- Working within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Solid bookkeeping and management accounting experience
- Proficiency in Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
- Ideally has experience within an accountancy practice (not essential if varied experience)
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Capable of managing workload independently under time pressure
