We are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join a well-established manufacturing business in the North East. This is a key support role within the Sales function, acting as a vital link between customers, sales, production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth and efficient order processing and outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently within ERP/MRP systems
  • Create quotations, order acknowledgements, and customer correspondence
  • Maintain accurate customer records, databases, and sales documentation
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, responding to queries on orders, pricing, delivery, and product information
  • Monitor order progress from receipt through to delivery, providing updates and proactively managing delays
  • Liaise with Production, Planning, Purchasing, and Logistics to ensure timely fulfilment
  • Support the Sales Team with reporting, KPI data, tenders, presentations, and contract administration
  • Assist with pricing updates, product information management, and coordination of samples and marketing materials
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and data protection requirements
  • Support internal and external audits as required

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in Sales Administration, Customer Service, or Commercial Support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with ERP/CRM or order processing systems
  • Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, or production environments (Desirable)
