We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing business in Billingham for an Estimating Administrator to support their busy office team.

This is an opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a proactive mindset who is looking to build a long-term career.

While this role is heavily admin-focused, there is scope for development into a more technical estimating support role for someone with the interest and ability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor shared inboxes
  • Organise and respond to emails promptly and professionally
  • Ensure project-related messages are flagged to the relevant team members
  • Log new project enquiries using internal systems (e.g. Trello)
  • Maintain and update internal registers with project timelines, key contacts, and relevant documents
  • Keep internal drives and folders tidy and well-organised
  • Request quotes from suppliers and track responses
  • Update internal pricing tools and product lists with accurate, up-to-date costs
  • Chase missing information as required
  • Assist estimators with handover documents and admin tasks
  • Support other departments with general administrative duties
  • Contribute to keeping all internal systems organised and up to date

About You:

  • Highly organised and detail-oriented
  • Strong communication skills and a confident phone manner
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Previous admin experience in a busy office environment is beneficial
