We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run business in Northallerton seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. As the successful candidate, you will support the day-to-day running of the stores and warehouse function, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, and dispatched accurately. The role requires a proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Receiving components and materials from suppliers and customers
- Checking goods-in documentation and verifying deliveries before acceptance into stock
- Picking and packing orders for dispatch
- Loading and unloading wagons
- Maintaining organised and efficient stock locations
- Supporting regular stock checks to ensure stock accuracy
- Coordinating the dispatch of finished goods
- Manual handling, including lifting and carrying heavy items
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
- Previous warehouse experience
- Stock control experience
