Are you an experienced Assistant Accountant and looking for the next step in your career?
We are working with a well-established and respected client based in the Thirsk area, who provide the highest standard of service, hospitality and sport to their clients.
· Bank reconciliations
· Maintain asset register, additions, disposals, asset verification, depreciation, reconciliations
· Process payroll for seasonal staff (payroll training will be given if necessary)
· Preparation of monthly reporting packs
· Balance Sheet reconciliations
· Prepare a weekly cash flow for one business
· Assist with preparation of budgets
· Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts
· Some journal posting / nominal ledger work
· Office for National Statistics returns
Required skills
Our client is looking for someone with the right mixture of general accounts experience and technical ability (AAT 4+) although personality and \’team fit’ will be just as important.
· Good knowledge of MS Excel
· Management Accounts production
· Strong attention to detail
· Proactive and organised with an ability to prioritise workload (essential)
