A well-established and respected accountancy practice based in the Cross Hills area is seeking an experienced Practice Accountant to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to work with a varied portfolio of clients and progress into a managerial role within a supportive and professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Working from both incomplete and computerised records
- Preparation of company and personal tax returns
- Reviewing the work of junior team members (in a supervisory / managerial capacity)
- Managing your own portfolio of clients (for those stepping into or already at manager level)
- Liaising with clients on day-to-day accounting and tax matters
- Assisting with ad-hoc projects as required
Requirements
- ACA / ACCA qualified, or QBE with a minimum of 3 years’ practice experience
- Solid understanding of UK accounting and tax regulations
- Strong experience preparing accounts for a wide range of entities, including LLPs
- High level of attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and client liaison skills
- Experience with CCH, Xero, Sage, and Microsoft Excel / Word
- Management accounts experience is desirable
