An established accountancy practice in Kirk Hammerton is looking to recruit a Tax Assistant to join its team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous accountancy practice experience in a tax assistant role who is looking to develop their skills within a supportive practice environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and submitting personal tax returns for clients.
- Corresponding with clients, HMRC and third parties.
- Liaising with clients by telephone, email, post and occasionally in person.
- Handling administrative matters relating to tax returns.
- Supporting the Tax Senior with additional duties as required.
About You:
- Previous experience working in an accountancy practice in a tax assistant role is essential.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines.
- A professional and client-focused approach.
