We are recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive to join an office-based team in Catterick Garrison. The role focuses on maintaining existing sales levels whilst generating additional revenue through effective quote management, proactive customer engagement and identifying new business opportunities.
You will manage sales enquiries and quotations, re-engage dormant customers, identify opportunities and coordinate meetings with the relevant Area Sales Managers to help progress potential business.

Responsibilities:
- Generate accurate quotes within the ERP system, working with Purchasing and the wider sales team where required
- Respond promptly to sales enquiries and follow up all quotations within the required timescales
- Analyse customer order patterns to identify potential risks and opportunities
- Use cross-reference tools to identify suitable alternatives to requested parts
- Proactively contact customers to generate quotation requests and new business
- Gather and report data on won and lost quotes to support improvements in conversion rates
- Ensure all customer contact and activity is accurately recorded within HubSpot CRM
- Work closely with Customer Support colleagues to ensure placed orders are handed over smoothly and maintain an excellent customer experience
- Continuously develop product knowledge and market awareness to support effective sales calls
- Take part in supplier meetings to remain up to date with the latest products
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions and customer meetings where appropriate
Key Skills & Experience:
- Confident xgikmsk written and verbal communication skills
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and make clear recommendations
- Experience in B2B sales or a sales support role, with an understanding of sales pipelines, conversion and forecasting
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail
- A confident, proactive approach with the ability to use initiative
- An ambitious attitude, with a drive to achieve success and secure orders
