A growing and forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Baildon is seeking an experienced Client Bookkeeper to join its busy and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a bookkeeping professional looking to work within a modern practice environment, gaining exposure to a varied client portfolio across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping for a range of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Preparation of management accounts and financial reports
- VAT return preparation and submission
- Use of cloud and desktop accounting software including Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
- Assisting senior accountants with client work
- Liaising directly with clients as required
- Payroll experience would be highly advantageous
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice environment preferred
- Industry experience will also be considered where relevant
- Experience using at least one accounting software package such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and hands-on approach
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Training can be provided on software packages where needed.
