We are recruiting for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a growing engineering business in Wetherby. This is a hands-on role with plenty of opportunity to make improvements, reduce costs and take ownership of the procurement and supply chain function. The business has recently been acquired by a larger group and is continuing to grow, making this an exciting time to join.
The Role
- Manage and lead the procurement team
- Take overall ownership of procurement and supply chain
- Manage and negotiate with suppliers
- Identify cost-saving opportunities
- Improve purchasing and stock management processes
- Monitor supplier performance across cost, quality and service

- You'll need a strong technical procurement background, ideally within engineering, manufacturing or a similar technical environment.

- Confident managing suppliers and negotiating
- Experienced in leading a procurement team
