We’re working with an established and growing business based in Stokesley to appoint an experienced Commercial Office Manager.

This is a newly created management position offering the opportunity to take ownership of a B2B Commercial Office team and genuinely influence how the business operates.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Leading, motivating and developing a team of around nine people.
  • Creating clear accountability, structure and consistent working standards.
  • Managing workloads and ensuring resources are used effectively.
  • Coaching and developing team members to support their progression.
  • Overseeing customer service, order processing, pricing, invoicing and dispatch.
  • Managing customer escalations, complaints and delivery issues.
  • Establishing and monitoring KPIs around customer service, order processing, response times and OTIF.
  • Identifying performance issues and implementing improvements.
  • Reviewing and redesigning existing processes where required.
  • Writing and embedding SOPs and clear ways of working.
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Supporting the implementation
  • Contributing to wider CRM development and improving the use of systems and data.
  • Working closely with Sales, Operations, Purchasing and Finance.
  • Improving communication between departments and reducing duplication and unnecessary handovers.

What we’re Looking For

You’ll ideally have experience managing a customer-facing or commercially focused team and be confident taking ownership of both people and processes.

You’ll need to be someone who can balance strong people management with a hands-on, commercially focused approach.
