The Role:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Payroll & HR Administrator to manage UK and Ireland payroll and support HR operations. This role requires strong knowledge of payroll legislation, excellent Excel skills, and a proactive approach to benefit administration and general HR support.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Manage end-to-end UK and Ireland payroll via external provider (Cloudpay)
- Process onboarding, offboarding, and employee data changes
- Reconcile inputs from HR and T&A systems and conduct pre-/post-payroll checks
- Ensure compliance with HMRC, including year-end reporting (P11d, payrolled benefits)
- Administer pensions, calculate holiday pay, and support audits
- Generate reports for payroll validation and analysis
- Coordinate employee benefit schemes (pensions, healthcare, life assurance, company cars etc.)
- Maintain accurate records and communicate changes to providers and staff
- Support HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment admin, onboarding, and documentation
- Ensure data integrity across HR systems and assist with Occupational Health scheduling
Creating Extraordinary Starts With:
- 3+ years of UK payroll experience with strong knowledge of UK legislation and HMRC requirements
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate, collate, and analyse large data sets accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and administrative precision
- Experience with HR and T&A systems (preferred)
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication
- Able to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work extended hours or travel occasionally when required
