We are currently recruiting for a Quality Controller to join our dedicated Quality Control Team. This is a great opportunity to develop your career in Quality. The Quality Controller is responsible for carrying out control processes to ensure TNGB quality standards, compliance and targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Daily quality checks and audits.
- Control of incoming raw materials/finish product samples.
- Maintain company status to all relevant industry quality accreditations (e.g. UFAS, ISO etc.)
- Promote all aspects of Quality Control with all departments in the workplace.
- Investigate problems in an effective and timely manner, involving appropriate personnel as required.
- Carry out daily duties in accordance with company guidelines to ensure the health and safety of self and colleagues.
- Fortnightly Plant hygiene Audits.
- Writing and generation of Adhoc reports and involvement in inter-departmental projects.
The successful candidate will have similar experience in a manufacturing or quality related background. Ideally you will have a science related qualification and/or knowledge of HACCP/Food safety related issues. Strong administration and IT skills together with a genuine interest in achieving high quality standards in everything you do and a keen eye for detail. You will be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and you should be able to multitask and work efficiently between different tasks and projects, working on your own and in a team. FLT licence an advantage but not essential.
The role will require a flexible approach to hours (shift pattern 6.00am – 6.00pm with occasional weekend work).
