Kiwa Product Compliance are inviting applications for the role of Business Development Manager to drive profitable new business growth by identifying, shaping, and converting opportunities.

We are looking for someone that can successfully translate customer needs into commercially viable solutions.

This is a hybrid role, based in Aylesbury with frequent UK travel.

  • Overview
  • The BDM is a disciplined hunter pipeline builder and deal closer, translating customer needs into commercially viable Global Market Access solutions
  • Develop and execute a targeted territory plan, identifying and prioritising key accounts
  • Generate new business through proactive, multi-channel outreach and relationship building
  • Lead discovery conversations to understand customer needs, risks and decision processes
  • Qualify opportunities and maintain a strong, focused pipeline aligned to targets
  • Translate customer requirements into tailored solutions, working closely with technical teams
  • Deliver compelling proposals with clear value messaging and commercial alignment
  • Lead negotiations, manage stakeholders and close deals in line with revenue and margin goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and a structured post-sale handover
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide reliable forecasting
  • Share market insight and performance feedback to support continuous improvement and inform wider teams

Responsibilities

  • Experience and knowledge of Global Market Access and certification schemes for radio and electrical devices.
  • Experience applying pricing strategies and managing margins to deliver commercially viable deals
  • Understanding of contracts including risk, liability and scope clarity
  • Awareness of regulatory frameworks and compliance drivers within target industries
  • Ability to connect services to regulatory and customer outcomes
  • Able to combine multiple services into tailored, value‑led solutions
  • Proactive and driven, with a consistent focus on building and maintaining a strong pipeline
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence in leading customer conversations and presenting solutions
  • Commercially minded, balancing revenue growth with margin protection

Qualifications

  • Transparent commission on top of your base salary, so your effort sets your earnings (to be discussed at second interview).

  • 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday, remote role with travel to the Harrogate office and across the UK
