PPI Quality & Engineering is seeking a Project QA/QC Manager to support a major energy project with a leading international EPC contractor. The successful candidate will lead the project quality function and ensure full compliance with client, contractual and international quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Overview:
- Location: South East England (initially), transitioning to Saudi Arabia
- Duration: Approx. 2 Years
- Travel: Required
- Relocation: Required
Role Purpose:
Provide leadership and governance for the Project Quality Management System (QMS), drive continual improvement, oversee audits and ensure quality objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead implementation and continual improvement of the Project Quality Management System.
- Chair management review meetings and report quality performance.
- Develop quality strategies, KPIs and improvement initiatives.
- Support recruitment, mentoring and development of quality personnel.
- Review and approve Project Quality Plans and procedures.
- Lead internal, supplier and certification audits.
- Ensure engineering deliverables comply with quality requirements before issue.
- Manage NCRs, root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions.
- Support project start-up, execution and lessons learned.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Supplier Quality Management experience.
- Experience leading multicultural project teams.
