Credit Controller/Accounts Receivable Accountant – 3 Month Contract in Aylesbury

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Accountant/ Credit Controller to join our UK Accounts Receivable team on a 3 month fixed term contract. This position is based in Aylesbury with hybrid working.

Overview:

• Perform credit control activities, securing prompt payment from our customers in line with terms, minimizing overdue balances and bad debt.
• Liaise between the Business Units’ Commercial Teams and Customers to resolve any disputes in a proactive, professional and supportive manner.
• Issue customer statements, reconcile accounts and proactively liaise with key customer accounts.
• Post cash receipts from customers.
• Investigate any unidentified/unallocated payment to minimize unallocated cash.
• Raise journals in Finance Operating Systems.
• Reconcile credit card receipts to appropriate ledgers.
• Maintain shared email in-boxes in co-ordination with other team members.
• Contributing to reporting and ledger updates with AR Team Lead and Business Units.
• Maintaining and ensuring correct customer master data.

Responsibilities:

• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable/Credit Control.
• General knowledge of accounting processes.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage workload efficiently.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills.

Qualifications:

• 3 Month Fixed Term Contract.
