Weβre looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Accountant/ Credit Controller to join our UK Accounts Receivable team on a 3 month fixed term contract. This position is based in Aylesbury with hybrid working.
Overview:
- Perform credit control activities, securing prompt payment from our customers in line with terms, minimizing overdue balances and bad debt.
- Liaise between the Business Unitsβ Commercial Teams and Customers to resolve any disputes in a proactive, professional and supportive manner.
- Issue customer statements, reconcile accounts and proactively liaise with key customer accounts.
- Post cash receipts from customers.
- Investigate any unidentified/unallocated payment to minimize unallocated cash.
- Raise journals in Finance Operating Systems.
- Reconcile credit card receipts to appropriate ledgers.
- Maintain shared email in-boxes in co-ordination with other team members.
- Contributing to reporting and ledger updates with AR Team Lead and Business Units.
- Maintaining and ensuring correct customer master data.
Responsibilities:
- Previous experience in Accounts Receivable/Credit Control.
- General knowledge of accounting processes.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage workload efficiently.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills.
Qualifications:
- 3 Month Fixed Term Contract.
