What you’ll do:
- Create transport schedules for our owned fleet and haulage partners on a daily basis.
- Organise raw material collections from vendors and 3PL storage through the effective use of backhaul on our owned fleet.
- Maintain effective order management within the business ERP system.
- Create and distribute, with the support of the team, all logistics documentation including pick lists, delivery notes and collections.
- Coordinate with drivers and loading team, with the issue of routes and instructions.
- Work closely with Customer Service to ensure clear communications on deliveries, issues and the management of logistics complaints.
- Collaborate with production team to ensure effective delivery of materials and timely despatching of finished goods.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation to ensure compliance and traceability.
- Work closely with the Transport Management team, contributing to team objectives and supporting cross-functional collaboration.
Who we’re looking for:
- We’re looking for an organised and proactive logistics professional who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and can contribute as part of a collaborative team.
- 3–5 years of experience in a transport office or a similar scheduling environment, within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Good IT literacy, including ERP usage and experience using MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Flexible and reliable, able to support the team during busy periods or provide cover when needed.
- Key soft skills include strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, confident communication with internal and external stakeholders, and a proactive, resilient, team‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving skills and a willingness to learn and continuously improve.
Location: Ashbourne, UK
Work model: On‑site
Contract: Permanent, full‑time (Monday to Friday)
