Conduct Feed Ingredient Scheme audits for new and existing clients in line with scheme standards and relevant legislation. Assess the effectiveness of control systems and ensure regulatory compliance. Provide technical support to other auditors and technical reviewers. Update and maintain records and reports in electronic systems. Build strong relationships with customers and scheme owners to support long-term partnerships. Stay up to date with industry developments, legislation and Feed Ingredient Scheme requirements. Contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes and service delivery. Attend meetings, training seminars and conferences. Undertake extensive travel as part of the field-based role.
Responsibilities
- Proven experience working in the agrifood industry.
- Higher education qualification in a science-based discipline.
- Technical knowledge of feed ingredients.
- HACCP training.
- Lead Assessor training (can be achieved as part of the role).
- Excellent planning, organisational skills, and interpersonal relations.
- Attention to detail and understanding of specific scheme rules and governance.
- Exceptional communication skills and problem solving abilities.
- Good working knowledge of IT tools (Microsoft Office etc.).
- Ability to work effectively in teams and independently.
- Relevant experience of managing customers.
- Flexible to travel extensively and stay away from home.
