Kiwa Product Compliance are seeking a Compliance Engineer to join their team. As a Compliance Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting global business operations through expert technical reviews and the screening of radio and electrical devices (RF & EMC). You’ll lead compliance activities across international markets, working closely with regulatory authorities, laboratories, and test houses to ensure successful Type Approval applications. This role is located in Aylesbury, with hybrid working available.

Overview:
- Support complex Type Approval applications to international labs and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct technical document reviews and check product samples to ensure suitability for testing.
- Act as the main technical contact for key customer accounts in challenging countries.
- Support test laboratories worldwide by answering technical questions and resolving issues.
- Create and update training materials for internal teams and partners.
- Research global compliance standards and develop strategies for product approvals.
- Carry out technical research to support projects and business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related technical/scientific field.
- Experience interpreting technical documents, including test reports, schematics, and PCBs.
- Hands-on experience with test and measurement tools (e.g. spectrum analyser, oscilloscope).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience resolving technical or regulatory challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and aptitude for accuracy.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently and in a team.
Qualifications:
- Generous Annual Leave: Starting at 25 days plus Bank Holidays, with the option to buy additional leave and increased entitlement with length of service.
- 37.5 hours per week: Monday to Friday, hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days from home).
