Kiwa UK is looking for a HR Adviser to join our team on a 9 month fixed term contract. As an HR Adviser, you will act as a Kiwa ambassador, living our values while providing professional HR advice and guidance across the employee lifecycle. You will support managers and employees with day to day queries, manage employee relations cases and contribute to cultural, equality and wellbeing initiatives that support Kiwa’s strategic goals. This is a fully remote, home based role, with occasional travel as required.

Overview

  • Support the HR Business Partners to deliver effective HR support across the business.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters, managing a wide range of ER cases in line with employment law, company policies, and Kiwa values.
  • Provide timely and accurate HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on day-to-day queries.
  • Support managers through formal processes, including disciplinary, grievance, and hearings, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
  • Drive positive culture, wellbeing, and inclusion initiatives, embedding DEI into everyday HR practice.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of HR policies, processes, and frameworks.
  • Ensure all documentation is controlled, effective, and aligned with culture, strategy, and legal requirements.
  • Actively participate in HR operational projects and lead initiatives.
  • Support HR communications, taking ownership of updates related to legislation and best practice.
  • Deliver analysis of HR and ER data to identify trends and provide insights that enhance engagement and business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Proven experience in an HR advisory role, managing ER cases in line with UK employment law.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practice.
  • Ability to coach and influence managers at all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on culture and brand.
  • Experience in policy development and process improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret HR data.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Commitment to DEI and wellbeing initiatives.
  • CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in multi-site, multi-discipline organisations.
  • Digital acumen and familiarity with HR systems.
  • Experience leading cultural or wellbeing projects.

Qualifications

  • 9 month fixed term contract
  • £45,000 per annum
  • 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday, fully remote, home-based role with occasional travel
