The predicted salary is between 31650 - 35892 £ per year.

Grade 6, Point 11 – 19 Term Time only. Salary: £28,142 – £32,062. Full time equivalent: £20,901 – £23,813 pro rata. 32.5 hours per week, 8-3pm Monday – Friday.

We are looking to appoint a committed and flexible individual to join our dynamic team of support staff and help our students to reach their potential. The role will involve supporting both inside and outside of the classroom, delivering small group interventions and offering one-to-one support for students with Education Health Care Plans. You will be expected to establish positive relationships with both children and staff and be part of a highly motivated team who aim to give all students access to a broad and balanced curriculum. The successful candidate will be required to support students of all abilities over a wide range of subjects.

The following skills, qualities and level of experience are therefore essential:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to relate to students in a calm and engaging manner
  • A positive attitude and ability to be an excellent role model
  • An awareness of how children learn and progress
  • Degree‑level qualification, working toward, or qualified by experience

Previous experience of supporting students within a classroom environment is desirable but not essential.
