Shutterstock is seeking a Senior Manager, Enterprise Sales – Media to lead and scale our Enterprise Media business across EMEA. This role is responsible for managing a team of Client Partners who work with some of the world’s most influential news organizations, publishers, broadcasters, and production companies.

As a leader in this space, you will drive strategic retention and expansion across a portfolio of complex, high-value enterprise accounts. You will be accountable for developing long-term customer partnerships, expanding multi-year agreements, and ensuring Shutterstock is positioned as a trusted strategic partner within the evolving Media landscape.

This role requires an experienced enterprise sales leader with a strong understanding of the Media industry, comfort engaging with senior decision-makers, and the ability to coach teams through complex, consultative sales cycles. This role is based in our London office.

The Day to Day

  • Enterprise Sales Leadership & Talent Development
    • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Enterprise Client Partners focused on strategic Media accounts.
    • Build a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement, developing future enterprise sales leaders.
    • Provide hands-on coaching on deal strategy, executive engagement, negotiation, and multi-stakeholder account planning.
  • Strategic Revenue Ownership
    • Own retention, expansion, and net revenue growth across a portfolio of mid-market to strategic enterprise Media customers.
    • Drive growth through multi-year renewals, upsell and cross-sell strategies, and expanded platform adoption.
    • Maintain strong forecast discipline and pipeline rigor across long sales cycles.
  • Account Strategy & Customer Partnerships
    • Guide the development of deep, multi-threaded account strategies for complex Media organizations.
    • Support your team in building trusted relationships with C-suite, editorial, production, legal, procurement, and commercial stakeholders.
    • Ensure customers realize ongoing value from Shutterstock’s content, data, and platform capabilities.
  • Media Vertical Expertise
    • Act as a subject-matter leader for the Media vertical, bringing a strong understanding of the news, publishing, broadcast, and production ecosystems.
    • Stay close to industry trends, including content licensing, editorial usage, digital transformation, AI, and evolving rights models.
    • Translate Media-specific customer needs into actionable sales strategies and feedback for Product and Marketing teams.
  • Operational & Cross-Functional Leadership
    • Partner closely with Sales Operations, Legal, Product, Editorial, and Marketing to support complex enterprise deals.
    • Ensure strong CRM hygiene, reporting accuracy, and disciplined use of Salesforce.
    • Contribute to enterprise-level planning, territory design, and coverage models for the Media business.

What You'll Bring to the Role

  • Experience
    • Significant experience in enterprise or strategic account sales, with prior people management responsibility required.
    • Proven track record leading teams that drive retention, expansion, and long-term growth within complex enterprise accounts.
    • Experience working with Media customers (news, publishing, broadcast, production, or adjacent content-driven industries) strongly preferred.
  • Leadership & Skills
    • Strong people leader with demonstrated success coaching senior sellers through complex, consultative sales cycles.
    • Comfortable operating at executive levels and influencing C-suite decision-makers.
    • Highly strategic, with the ability to balance long-term account planning and short-term execution.
    • Data-driven mindset with strong forecasting, pipeline management, and performance analytics skills.
    • Confident communicator who can influence across teams and functions.
  • Technical & Industry Knowledge
    • Deep familiarity with enterprise sales processes, contract negotiation, and multi-year commercial agreements.
    • Proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM) and strong operational discipline.
    • Experience in content licensing, SaaS, digital media, or data-driven businesses is a strong plus.
