Requirements
- You achieved a minimum of a grade A at A-level (or equivalent) in the subject you wish to tutor in OR you have at least 5 years of tutoring/teaching experience.
- You are familiar with the national curriculum in England.
- You live in London if you would like to tutor in person.
- You have a working camera, a stable internet connection, and a quiet space to tutor in if you would like to tutor online.
- You’re able to commit to tutoring for a minimum of one academic year.
- You have or are willing to obtain a DBS certificate.
- You have the right to work in the UK by the start of your employment.

Ahead of your interview, we’ll ask you to prepare a mock lesson plan that you’ll present during your interview. If you pass this stage, then congratulations—you’re now a tutor at Shuhari Tuition.
Essential qualifications
- Minimum grade A at A-level (or equivalent) in the subject(s) you wish to tutor (maths, English language, English literature, biology, chemistry, physics).
- Familiarity with the national curriculum in England for the relevant key stages (primary, secondary, GCSE, A-level).
