Do you have a keen eye for detail anda passion for inventory control? We're looking for an experienced and proactive Inventory Team Leader to oversee our inventory function, ensuring stock records remain closely aligned with those held by our third-party logistics providers. This pivotal role will be responsible for managing stock adjustments, stock takes, reporting, liability allocation and inventory-related charges, while supporting supplier relationships and maintaining accurate stock across relevant SAP plants.
Leading and developing a high-performing team, you'll drive accurate and timely inventory control, investigate and resolve stock and delivery discrepancies, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. What you'll be doing
- Take ownership of inventory accuracy across our supply chain, ensuring stock records remain aligned with our third-party logistics partners.
- Lead stock control activities, from reconciliations and adjustments to stock takes and reporting, ensuring robust processes and accurate results.
- Proactively identify, investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and operational challenges to support seamless customer service.
- Build strong relationships with logistics partners, suppliers and key stakeholders to drive collaboration and effective problem-solving.
- Inspire, coach and develop a high-performing team while championing continuous improvement across inventory processes and controls.
Who we are looking for
- Experience in inventory control, stock management or supply chain operations within a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP/WMS system.
- Proven experience investigating stock variances, reconciling inventory and managing stock adjustments.
- Strong analytical, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify efficiencies and deliver positive change.
