Shropshire Trading Ltd is a purpose-led, B Corp-certified business working at the sharp end of the UK’s discount retail market. We help some of Europe’s best-known FMCG brands move residual stock into the UK’s top value retailers. We do it with energy, integrity and a lot of heart.

After 6 years of hands-on growth, our MD is ready to step back from day-to-day operations to spend more time working on the business (rather than in the business). We’re looking for a Commercial Director who can lead our high-performing team, fuel growth and inject new energy into our journey.

• Isn’t afraid to ask "why?" of themselves, their team, or their clients.
• Is emotionally intelligent and knows when to take the mask off.
• Is present, we need you in and around Shrewsbury, working shoulder to shoulder with the team.

• You must live within 40 miles of Shrewsbury (this isn’t a remote role).
• You need to love the thrill of new business and the power of great relationships.
• You’ve probably managed a team before, but we’re open to a rising star who’s ready for their first commercial director role if they bring the hunger and capability.
