The best Project Managers see the bigger picture. The great ones deliver it. If you're a Project Manager who looks beyond plans and reporting - someone who cares about what a project actually achieves, not just how it's delivered - this could be the role you've been waiting for.

We're looking for a true generalist Project Manager - someone equally comfortable leading operational change and delivering technology-enabled projects, with a strong understanding of how the two come together to drive meaningful, lasting impact.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Portfolio and Change, you'll take ownership of a varied portfolio of projects spanning both business operations and technology. You'll be responsible for making sure projects are not only delivered - but delivered well: on time, on budget, to the right quality standards, and with clear, measurable benefits that improve how the organisation operates.

This is a role with real breadth. You'll lead across multiple workstreams, manage competing priorities, and work with stakeholders at all levels - internally and externally - to ensure delivery stays on track, is well-governed, and delivers meaningful outcomes.

What we're looking for

  • Customer Driven: You understand the impact of projects on customers and services, keeping the end goal in sight to deliver genuine improvements in outcomes, efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Accountability: You take full ownership of delivery - from planning through to outcomes. You manage timelines, budgets, risks, and governance with rigour, ensuring projects are well controlled, on track, and deliver real value - not just completion.
  • Develop & Learn: You're committed to continuous improvement - refining how projects are delivered and staying up to date with best practice across both operational change and technology delivery. You actively look for ways to strengthen processes, outcomes, and long-term impact.
  • Champion Communication: You communicate with clarity and confidence, bringing together diverse stakeholders across the business and external partners. You're able to translate complexity into clear insight, enabling informed decisions and keeping delivery aligned and moving forward.

You’ll bring:

  • A recognised project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, Agile) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience delivering both operational/business and technology-enabled projects, with clear evidence of achieving outcomes against time, cost, quality, and impact targets.
  • The ability to manage complex, multi-workstream projects, including identifying and handling interdependencies and cross-service impacts.
  • Experience working with and managing external suppliers and partners, ensuring accountability and successful delivery.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand and clearly communicate complex delivery challenges.
  • A commitment to Equality and Diversity.

Pre-employment requirements

The successful candidate will be required to complete Right to Work checks.
