About the role

As a Decorator, you'll carry out high-quality painting and redecoration across occupied and void homes, helping to maintain and improve our housing stock. Working in a field-based role, you'll manage your own day, deliver first-time fixes, and complete work efficiently without compromising quality.

What we're looking for

  • Accountability: You take ownership of your work - managing your time effectively, meeting targets, and delivering a high-quality finish without cutting corners.
  • Develop & Learn: You're committed to maintaining and developing your decorating skills, keeping up to date with best practice to consistently deliver excellent standards.
  • You communicate clearly and professionally with customers, colleagues, and the wider team - helping to keep jobs running smoothly and ensuring a seamless repairs service.
  • Qualification in Painting & Decorating (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven decorating expertise - solid experience delivering high-quality internal and external painting and redecoration across occupied and void properties.
  • Experience of working in social housing.
  • First-time fix mindset - focused on getting the job done right first time while maintaining efficiency and quality.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a Basic DBS check, a Right to Work check, and a DVLA licence check.
