Location: Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service Headquarters, St Michael’s Street, Shrewsbury; occasional reception cover at Telford Training Centre, Stafford Park 1. Free car parking available.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service are looking for an Administrative Support Officer to join our Service Support Team, providing administrative support to various teams and officers throughout the Service, assisting them to carry out their roles.
Responsibilities:
- Data input, information collation and provision, filing and document management.
- Acting as an initial contact point with the public, other organisations, and internal customers.
Qualifications:
- Confident communication skills and excellent written skills.
- Ability to use initiative, prioritise work and meet deadlines.
- Developed keyboard skills required with a minimum of OCR RSA Word Processing Stage 2 (or equivalent) and 2 GCSE passes at A – C grade (or equivalent), one of which should be English Language.
- Experience in Microsoft Office, including electronic diary management, is essential.
