This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is ambitious and innovative to join our team. As a Financial Reconciliation Officer, you will be expected to organise and prioritise workloads effectively and contribute to team working to meet set targets and deadlines. You will ensure that your allocated workload for reconciliation with our care providers is completed within the agreed schedules, including allocations for Direct Payments where you will provide the appropriate support directly to the recipients. You will work closely with social care operations teams, care providers, service users, carers, families and health partners. This is an excellent opportunity to join our Financial Reconciliation team, which is responsible for the reconciliation on commissioned services and Direct Payments within Adult Social Care and Children’s Services.
Responsibilities
- Organise and prioritise workloads effectively to meet set targets and deadlines.
- Reconcile with care providers within agreed schedules and manage allocations for Direct Payments, providing support to recipients as required.
- Collaborate with social care operations teams, care providers, service users, carers, families and health partners to ensure accurate reconciliation and service delivery.
Qualifications
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent with a broad level of experience in a relevant role.
- Good IT skills and the ability to communicate at all levels, showing sensitivity where required.
- Empathy in dealing with difficult situations and conversations; ability to take ownership of situations and respond to queries efficiently and professionally.
- Problem solver with a can-do attitude; resilient and willing to engage with changes to evolving service-area circumstances.
