We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join our residential care teams in central Shropshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and management for residential care teams.
  • Support children with complex needs, including those with trauma, neglect and abuse history.
  • Maintain and promote high standards of care and staff morale.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of care plans and operational procedures.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 21 years of age and full driving licence.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Children and Young People Workforce, or NVQ in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience working with children in a residential setting.
  • Empathy, resilience and strong character to support vulnerable children.
  • Ability to lead, manage and motivate a team.
  • Must provide an enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service.
