Shropshire Council's Passenger Transport Group is looking for a Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) Coordinator to lead the Connect On-Demand team who provide essential public transport for customers across Shropshire. The service launched in December 2023 and continues to grow; we are looking for an experienced leader to coordinate the team and ensure the successful implementation and delivery of the demand responsive transport project.
You will also be responsible and accountable for the team including office staff and drivers associated, acting in a supervisory/managerial capacity. This includes monitoring performance and supporting development. We are looking for someone with experience of leading a transport team, managing drivers and their shift patterns, and effectively able to coordinate the team in the office in delivering an outstanding service for our customers. Some knowledge of transport legislation and policies is required.
