As a Receptionist in our Shropshire team, you will deliver high-quality front-of-house services at our facility. This role involves frequent interaction with customers, both face-to-face and via telephone, providing clear information and excellent service while supporting the wider team as required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver consistently high standards of customer service aligned with contract and organisational objectives
- Manage reception operations on a day-to-day basis, including deputising for the Head Receptionist when required
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashing up in line with company financial procedures
- Promote and upsell services where appropriate to encourage secondary spend
- Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all health, safety, and corporate governance policies
- Build positive relationships with customers, clients, and internal stakeholders
- Attend relevant training and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (face-to-face and telephone)
- Cash handling experience with strong attention to detail
- Calm, professional manner when working under pressure
- Ability to think quickly, solve problems, and simplify complex customer queries
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptable, proactive, and able to work effectively independently or as part of a team
