Responsibilities

  • Provide customer care to people of all ages.
  • Supervise pool activities.
  • Maintain high cleanliness standards in the pool area.
  • Ensure the safe handling and set-up of pool equipment.
  • Support safety operations and, when required, perform life-saving duties.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, demonstrating excellent customer-service skills.
  • Remain vigilant and safety-conscious in pressurised situations.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills.
  • Strong swimming skills and the ability to manage high-pressure situations.
  • Valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (Royal Life-Saving Society) or an equivalent certification.

Working Hours & Salary

  • 30 hours per week, including early, late and weekend shifts.
  • Salary up to £11.44 per hour.
