Overview
Shrewsbury School is looking for a motivated and customer-focused IT Technician to join our busy IT Department.
Supporting staff and pupils across the school and its associated prep schools, you'll play a key role in delivering reliable, high-quality IT services.
Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-line technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
- Install, configure and maintain PCs, laptops and peripherals.
- Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft365 and Entra ID environments.
- Assist with Share Point, server and network administration.
- Manage and resolve helpdesk tickets, work with third‑party suppliers and support ongoing IT projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
- Level2 ICT qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
