Responsibilities
- Lead on technical and vocational education for 16‑18‑year‑olds and adults, including English and maths resits.
- Lead the college’s Higher Education provision.
- Ensure the delivery of high‑quality education and develop the college’s response to curriculum reforms in vocational and technical education.
- Provide strategic and operational leadership of the technical and vocational curriculum from Level 1 to Level 7.
- Drive and support the professional development of a management team of six high‑performing directors and managers.
- Serve as an outstanding teacher within the college community.
Qualifications
- Experience of teaching and management in a further education or sixth‑form college with vocational provision.
- Experience managing Higher Education provision is an advantage.
- This role is the next step for a current Assistant Principal or Director with relevant leading experience.
