Shrewsbury College is seeking a Systems Developer to join our Technical Services team.
This is a varied role that combines software development, database management, reporting, systems integration, automation, and emerging AI technologies.
You will play a key part in developing and supporting business-critical applications, integrations, and business intelligence solutions that support staff and students across the College.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support business-critical applications, integrations, and business intelligence solutions that support staff and students.
- Engage in software development across a broad technology stack, including web development and related technologies.
- Manage database systems, reporting, data analysis, and automation tasks.
- Collaborate on systems integration projects and explore opportunities with Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Drive adoption of new automation opportunities and emerging AI technologies where appropriate.
Qualifications / Experience
- Strong experience across web development, SQL Server, reporting and data analysis.
- Experience developing bespoke applications, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and working with Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Experience with C#, ASP. NET, SQL Server, Power BI, cloud services, scripting, and systems integrations.
- Proactive problem-solver with the ability to learn new technologies and deliver practical solutions that benefit the organization.
