Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist seeking an opportunity to utilize and develop your clinical skills and leadership abilities? If so, our static Band 6 Occupational Therapy position may be perfect for you.
All of our specialist Occupational Therapists receive supervision and mentorship from a highly specialist team. They will offer guidance in clinical development and leadership, while you continue to learn and utilize the holistic, patient-centered therapy skills core to the Occupational Therapy profession.
One part-time job share (0.6 WTE) position is available at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work alongside Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Therapy Support workers, and nursing staff to achieve patients\’ rehabilitation and discharge goals within the General Surgical setting. This includes management and discharge of Amputee patients. The role also involves follow-up treatment of patients discharged from Critical Care to the Surgical wards, ensuring continuity of care for this complex group.
Successful candidates will be expected to work 22.5 hours across Wednesday to Friday, including regular weekend work. This post is based at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
