We believe in developing leadership at all levels which is why we encourage all of our employees to engage in service development so that we can continually update and improve services provided to patients in keeping with evidence based practice. To enable you to expand your knowledge beyond our current band 5 rotational areas we would also invite successful candidates to spend time learning from our wider Occupational Therapy team including those working in the areas of hand therapy, critical care, neurology and as part of the Macmillan integrated therapy team.
We are also currently working with therapy partners within our integrated care system to offer cross-organisational band 5 rotational opportunities in neighbouring trusts who provide community therapy services, mental health services and specialist spinal and orthopaedic services to patients in our region.
All new graduates joining us will be supported through the trusts preceptorship programme and all band 5s are allocated 10% of their contractual time to supporting professional activity (SPA).
