We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated individual to join our radiology Clerical team here at The Princess Royal Hospital.
The successful applicant must be literate, numerate and have a good understanding of computers. Our clerical team is vital to the efficient running of the imaging department which strives to deliver a high standard of patient centred care. We are looking for individuals with ambition who are able to work to and achieve goals and/or objectives set by their line manager.

Responsibilities
- This role helps the radiology team run smoothly and supports patients during their visits.
- You will manage bookings for scans and appointments, including for patients who may have cancer.
- You will work with doctors, nurses, and other staff to make sure patients get the care they need on time.
- You will welcome patients and visitors, helping them in person or over the phone.
- You will keep accurate records using computer systems.
- You will often work on your own and need to be confident making decisions.
The Radiology wider team is made up of Consultant Radiologists, Radiographers, sonographers and assistants. Being part of the radiology administrative team you will be working along side these groups of clinicians to ensure we deliver a high standard of patient centred care.
