Job overview

We are seeking highly motivated, adaptable, and conscientious Registered Pharmacy Technicians to join our team.

The successful candidate will have relevant pharmacy experience, hold a BTEC/NVQ Level 3 (Pharmaceutical Sciences) qualification or equivalent, and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

Experience in hospital pharmacy is desirable but not essential, as full training in all areas will be provided to successful candidates, making this an ideal first role in a hospital environment.

There will be a requirement to participate in extended hours, including weekends and bank holidays, on a rotational basis.

Main duties of the job

Our department is committed to the expanded role of technicians, encouraging skill development across all aspects of hospital pharmacy practice.

Your duties will include rotations in clinical services, dispensing, aseptic services, counselling, and clinical trials.
