Are you a passionate, forward thinking, motivated individual? Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Then our Trauma and Orthopaedic team needs you! Trauma and Orthopaedics are looking to recruit individuals looking to learn new skills and support the busy department we work in.
You must possess GCSEs in Maths and English at grades 9 - 4 (or equivalent) and demonstrate an understanding of what is required within the role of a Healthcare Assistant. Previous hospital experience is desirable.

ResponsibilitiesThe successful applicants will provide support and assist Registered Nurses delivering all aspects of health care directly to patients, within defined levels of competence and practice. This will include assisting in maintaining a suitable environment in which to deliver that care.
Location and TrainingBased at The Princess Royal Hospital, we are committed to the training and development of our Healthcare workers. There are many opportunities to develop skills you have yet to discover. We will provide you with an individualised induction package to help you settle into the team.
Hospital Transformation Programme (HTP)As part of our long-term vision to improve patient care and service delivery, our Service will relocate to The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital in 2028. This move will unite specialist services in a purpose-built, modern environment, enhancing care and team experience.
We are actively recruiting and want applicants to be aware that successful candidates will be expected to move with the Service in early 2028. The relocation will follow a formal management of change process, with full consultation and support for colleagues.
