We’re looking for a confident and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, well-equipped independent practice in North Dorset on a part time basis. Based in a thriving Dorset market town with on-site parking and easy access to the A303. Be surrounded by stunning open countryside, perfect for dog walking, cycling, and outdoor living and less than an hour from the Jurassic Coast and on the edge of Cranborne Chase.

Our newly refurbished clinic, conveniently located in the heart of town, boasts state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound, capnography, in-house haematology and biochemistry, endoscopy, and tonometry. This comprehensive range of tools allows us to provide precise and timely diagnoses on site, enhancing the care we offer to every patient. Beyond our technology, our highly experienced nursing and support teams are always available to assist. Be part of something special and support our loyal and friendly growing client base.
The Role
This role is ideal for a Vet looking to grow and learn, or anybody looking to return to work. While some sole charge responsibilities will be required, full support is always available.
- 15.5 hours per week, with potential for additional hours
- Saturday mornings only on a 1:4 rotation - no out-of-hours or night shifts
- Remaining hours spread over 2 or 3 days, with flexible scheduling to support a healthy work/life balance
- Immediate start available
