Key Responsibilities
- Work a 40‑hour week over 4 days and act as primary customer contact.
- Arrive punctually, dressed in Shred‑it uniform, at the branch start time and clock in.
- Check client allocation (routing) for the day’s run of the assigned truck.
- Complete a conscientious circle‑check of the assigned vehicle using the circle checklist form; correct minor items and report serious items to CSS.
- Obtain all necessary documentation for the day’s operations.
- Leave the yard no more than 20 minutes after clock‑in.
- Carefully park the truck in the designated area and record the time of arrival on the handheld device.
- Politely greet the client contact and record any changes they advise.
- Quietly and conscientiously remove confidential material from the premises while adhering to security and safety policies.
- Give and explain the certificate of destruction to the client.
- Record the time shredding was completed and material loaded onto the truck.
- Unload or park the vehicle as per branch process.
- Attend a de‑brief with CSS; note any location or time‑of‑service changes on the Driver’s Information Sheet.
- Return handheld and printer to the docking station and ensure clock out.
Required Education
A full UK driving licence (category B) is required. A GCSE or equivalent is preferred.

Certifications and/or Licenses
Drivers Licence.
