Role Overview: Contribute to the safe and timely movement and transportation of clinical and industrial waste, driving a non‑HGV company vehicle. Work as part of the Transportation team to provide excellent customer service while ensuring all legal compliance issues regarding the EU Working Time Directive and ADR Transportation Regulations are fully adhered to.

Key Job Activities:

  • Carry out daily schedules to agreed routes and timings; complete specific documentation required by legislation and corporate procedures relating to driver hours and WTD;
  • Comply with all statutory requirements related to the Road Traffic Act, vehicle weight limits, speed limits, and digital tachograph records;
  • Meet all relevant ADR/hazardous goods legislation requirements;
  • Act as a customer contact at the delivery point of service, maintain courtesy at all times;
  • Attend work instructions, trainings, staff meetings, and undertake ad‑hoc duties as required;
  • Operate to a high professional standard, report any accident or incident promptly, and complete all company documentation;
  • Complete vehicle checks prior to use and notify any defects to Service Coordinators via appropriate documentation.

Required Education and Qualifications: High School or equivalent Driver's License.
