As an Outbound Sales Specialist, you will build your own client target list through various channels and convert these prospects into active, spending accounts with Shred-it. You will spend 4 out of 5 days cold calling, focusing on sales. The final day will be spent following up on conversations had, with proposals and any other action points taken away from that week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for finding your own sales leads through channels including Salesforce, LinkedIn, Companies House, etc.
  • Create your own target list and make outbound calls to drive new customer acquisition growth.
  • Sell our suite of services designed to protect private information by discovering client needs, making personalised recommendations, and providing bespoke solutions.
  • Manage a pipeline of prospects to build future sales through customer relationship building, understanding contract timescales and tender processes.

To Succeed in this role:

  • Money will be your motivator, always striving to overachieve on KPIs.
  • You will be commercially aware, able to think on your feet and deliver profitable proposals.
  • Being organised and self-aware is essential.
  • Consistency is key; expect to make between 60-100 calls per day.

How you will demonstrate it:

  • You will have a proven track record of commercial success, ideally in a sales consultant role or similar.
  • You will have at least 3 years’ experience in B2B sales, ideally selling services into businesses.
