Overview
Spectrum Healthcare Resources invites applications for a Full‑time Registered Nurse (Adult Medicine/Internal Medicine) at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Virginia.
We offer excellent work/life balance: Monday‑Friday 0700‑1900 with no nights or weekends, employee status with a full complement of benefits, and the clinic is open on all federal holidays.

- Position Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of RN duties in accordance with assignment under the task order, including triage; patient assessment and monitoring; use of patient monitoring and treatment equipment; appropriate nursing care, procedures, and treatments; execution of physicians’ orders within the guidelines of standard nursing practice; documentation of patient care and observations; and patient education and emotional support.
- Position Requirements
- Degree: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
- Graduate of a state‑accredited professional nursing program.
- Active RN license (current, full, active, and unrestricted).
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience within the last two (2) years as an RN working in an internal medicine setting.
- Active BLS certification.
- U. S. citizen.
